Finite Element Center (PHI)
Finite Element Center promotes the advancement of Computational Calculus.
Computational Calculus is a modern form of the calculus founded by Leibniz and Newton,
expressed as the computational solution of the differential equations of science,
including the equations of Newton, Euler, Lagrange, Navier, Navier-Stokes, Maxwell, Einstein,
and Schrödinger.
Our vision is a fundamental reform of education
and research in science and technology exploiting the power
of Computational Calculus.
Current items
Opportunity at the Computer Science Department, University of Chicago
The Department is seeking exceptional candidates with research
accomplishments in the numerical solution of partial differential
equations to serve as Lecturer in Computer Science.
As part of its mission, the Finite Element Center supports the
Body and Soul educational project
and the
FEniCS software project.
Finite Element Center publishes a preprint series.
The preprint series is a continuation of the preprint series of Chalmers Finite Element Center.
